Media and Communications Secretary

The Media and Communications Secretary will be responsible for managing the social media communications, website, and newsletter of the Local. Social media websites include Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. The website (currently hosted through Wordpress) must be updated to include new events. The Communications Secretary is responsible for sending out monthly bulletins (currently through Mailchimp). The Communications Secretary chairs the Media and Communications Committee; the Committee is responsible for organizing internal/external communications, phone/text-banking, and graphics. Fundraising campaigns are created in coordination with the Treasurer. Slack membership audits are completed in coordination with the Recording Secretary.
